Shepherd of the Hills offers three worship services to accommodate our increasing membership and to offer different worship options to the community. The Sunday morning schedule is as follows:
8:00 a.m. - Traditional Blended Worship
9:30 a.m. - Modern Worship
11:00 a.m. - Traditional Worship
The Traditional Blended Worship Service is a relaxed traditional service with music drawn from a broad range of styles, including traditional hymns, contemporary praise, and everything in between. The Sanctuary Chorale is part of this worship service on a regular basis.
The Modern Worship Service is a fluid, informal service filled with exclusively contemporary praise music, led by our Worship Leader, Aaron Flores. In addition, prayer stations within the worship space impart personal, interactive elements, such as the Eucharist, intercession, and message response, to those who are led to experience them.
The Traditional Worship Service is the formal liturgical experience of our cherished Methodist ritual. This service has elements such as processionials, the Doxology, and sung responses. The music in this service is drawn from traditional repertoires, including hymns and classical works. Music leadership is provided by a variety of ensembles, soloists, and instrumentalists.
