Shepherd of the Hills Preschool offers a high-quality developmental
early childhood program accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. With an experienced and highly training staff, the preschool has been serving the community for over 37 years. Half-day programs are available for ages 2 years/9 months through Junior K.

Shepherd of the Hills offers a number of children's ministries, including:
Sunday School at Shepherd of the Hills is offered at the 9:30 and 11:00 am services, and for different age groups. Programs are designed to be fun and educational, and offer music with Aaron Flores, crafts, and Bible lessons taught a team of dedicated teachers. A "crib room" is available for the youngest children as well.

Vacation Bible school takes place August 9-13 from 8:45 to noon at Shepherd, with an alternate/additional week available at Santa Margarita UMC from August 16th through 20th.
