Ministries
Adult and Family Ministries at Shepherd include gatherings such as the monthly Sacred Space for families, the new small group gathering "LIFE Groups", Parents of Little Ones (we call it "POLO"), an active 60+ group, a really active group called "In Motion", Stephen Ministry, and much more..
Youth Ministries at Shepherd are for 6th through 12th graders, and include groups for worship, Bible study, spiritual growth, and social activities.
Children's Ministries includes Shepherd's high-quality NAEYC-accredited preschool, the Discovery Kingdom Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Explorers Club for kids 3rd through 5th grade, plus an Acolyte program.
Music Ministries at Shepherd include two chorus groups, a handbell ensemble, and more.
Outreach Ministries works to serve the needs of the community, the nation, and the world, with activities such as food drives, disaster relief programs, Mexico home building projects, and more.
The Prayer Ministry is committed to encourage and promote prayer in the life of the church, with Prayer Teams, a Prayer Chain, Centering Prayer meetings, a Prayer room, and an Easter Prayer Vigil.
