Shepherd of the Hills offers a number of children's ministries, including:
Shepherd Preschool
Shepherd of the Hills Preschool offers a high-quality developmental early childhood program accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. With an experienced and highly training staff, the preschool has been serving the community for over 37 years. Half-day programs are available for ages 2 years/9 months through Junior K.

Discovery Kingdom Sunday School
Discovery Kingdom Sunday School at Shepherd of the Hills is offered at the 9:30 and 11:00 am services, and for different age groups. Programs are designed to be fun and educational, and offer music, crafts, and Bible lessons taught by a team of dedicated teachers. A "crib room" is available for the youngest children as well.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School 202: July 18-22, 2012. More information on VBS is here.
Explorers Club
Designed for 3rd to 5th graders, this "junior" youth group meets every other Wednesday at 6:30 pm. For more information and a schedule of activities, see here.
Acolytes
3rd graders and older can serve in this tradition at our 8:00 and 9:30 am worship services. For information contact Kathe Enright at gkenright@cox.net
Joyful Noise Kids Choir
We are a growing group and are always looking for kids who like to sing and have fun. New members are always welcome! We practice Sunday mornings, 10:30-10:55 am in Mr. Floy's Room, and sing once a month in church. For more information, contact Kristy Morse at dialanursekmm@yahoo.com
Scripture Readers
Third through fifth graders have the opportunity to read the scripture at the 11:00 worship. For information contact Laura Schwarcz at lschwarcz@sothumc.org
Keep it Positive

Lazy W Ranch
The Lazy W Ranch is located in the beautiful Cleveland National Forest, east of San Juan Capistrano, and offers a week-long summer camp, among many other activities. Elementary Camp 2012 will be July 15th-20th See here for more information.
